“Preko is set in the heart of the beautiful Dalmatian waters and offers some of the best sailing to be found anywhere in the world. Cruising the Dalmatian coast has to be the experience of a lifetime, with its breathtaking scenery and crystal clear water. To arrive in Marina Preko through the islands from northern or southern routes, or even further afield is a rare treat with an unique view of the entire Zadar canal.

The marina is a ‘must’ to visit, to experience the Dalmationa friendly traditional lifestyle".

WHY MARINA PREKO?
In the heart of the Dalmatian Islands is the small town of Preko, on the Island of Ugljan, which has been famous for its locally grown olives since Roman times.

With a Mediterranean feel to the island and bars and restaurants lining the shore, Preko offers the traditions of Croatia, combined with the simplicity of the local fresh delicacies which are a delight for the visitor to the island.

From the top of St Michael’s Mountain above Preko, from the ruins of a 13th Century Venetian fort, is an unforgettable view of the surrounding archipelago, which provides some of the best cruising grounds in the world. The fort itself bears testimony to the history and culture of the area and provides an illustration of the varied sites nearby to explore.
